Ahoy there, fellow Disney-loving travel buff! 🏴☠️ Get ready to set sail on a culinary adventure with our quirky, spirited take (pun intended) on the brand-new Beak & Barrel Magic Kingdom’s most anticipated new hangout launching August 29, 2025! Let me walk you through this swashbuckling hotspot in a way only a Disney-obsessed travel agent can.
Welcome to The Beak & Barrel: Magic Kingdom’s Pirate Pub Adventure!
Have you ever dreamt of waking up in Adventureland and stumbling into a pirate-themed lounge that finally brings rum back to the Magic Kingdom (in a legal way, of course)? Well, dreams do come true! Say “Ahoy!” to The Beak & Barrel MAgic Kingdom Adventureland’s newest escape, opening August 29, 2025, right by the exit of Pirates of the Caribbean.
A Lounge with Lore (and a Likeable Parrot)
This isn’t just your average watering hole. It’s borne of pirate legend! Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, a notorious rum runner, supposedly founded it with her loyal parrot quartermaster, Rummy—now perched in proper fashion at the bar, watching your every move.
The décor is a feast for the eyes, too: communal tables in “The Mess,” eerily atmospheric bar fixtures that look like shipwreck debris, and a skull facade that doubles as liquor storage. Fancy a side of pirate lore with your mojito? You’ll get storytelling, sing-alongs, and unexpected surprises along the way.
What’s on the Platter & in the Goblet?
