Disney World's Free Dining is Back for UK Guests in 2027 — Here's Everything You Need to Know

The most popular Disney deal for British fans just got announced, and we've got all the details.

Great news for our UK Disney fans. Free Dining is officially back for Walt Disney World in 2027! This is hands-down the most popular offer Disney runs for British guests each year, and the 2027 version has some genuinely exciting changes that make it one of the most accessible versions yet.

As your Disney Earmarked Silver certified travel agents, we've gone through every detail so you know exactly what you're getting, whether it's worth it, and how to lock it in before it sells out. Let's get into it.

What Is the Disney Free Dining Offer?

If you're new to this deal, here's the short version: instead of paying for meals separately as you go around the parks, Disney bundles a Dining Plan into your package at no extra cost. That means your food and drinks are included upfront. We're talking table service restaurants, quick service meals, snacks, and even a resort refillable drink mug.

For a family of four staying 14 nights, getting the dining plan included as part of a package has historically represented a saving of well over £1,500 and that's before the additional cash discount on top. For a lot of families, this is the deal that turns a dream Disney trip into a bookable reality.

What's New for 2027?

On top of the free dining, UK guests can save up to £400 on their package and unlike some previous versions of this offer, you won't need a flight-inclusive package to qualify. That's great news if you prefer to book your own flights through Avios, Virgin Points, or just want more flexibility over your travel arrangements.

That's a big change. In previous years, some guests were locked out of the full savings because they weren't booking flights through Disney's travel partners. Not anymore.

The cash saving breaks down by resort tier:

  • Value Resort: £200 off your package

Value Resort: £200 off your package

  • Moderate Resort: £300 off your package

Moderate Resort: £300 off your package

  • Deluxe Resort: £400 off your package

Deluxe Resort: £400 off your package

There's also a bonus for early bookers: a free one-way arrival transfer from Orlando International Airport for the first 2,500 qualifying bookings at Moderate and Deluxe Resorts when you book direct through Disney. That's worth grabbing if you can.

What Dining Plan Do You Get?

The dining plan you receive depends on which resort tier you book. Here's how it breaks down:

Value Resort guests receive one free quick-service meal per person per night, plus one drink per meal.

Moderate Resort guests receive the full Quick-Service Dining Plan — that's 2 quick-service meals per person per night, 1 drink per meal, 1 snack or non-alcoholic drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug for your whole stay.

Deluxe Resort guests receive the standard Disney Dining Plan — 1 quick-service meal and 1 table-service meal per person per night, 1 drink per meal, 1 snack or non-alcoholic drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug.

If character dining is on your bucket list, you'll want to aim for at least a Moderate resort the table service credits that come with Deluxe cover character meals, signature restaurants, and all the really special dining experiences.

Who Can Book?

Any British guest can take advantage of the offer. All you have to do is book a qualifying hotel and ticket package. The offer covers stays at select Value, Moderate, and Deluxe on-site Disney resorts — places like Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

You'll have access to over 90 venues on the Quick-Service Dining Plan and over 170 with the Table-Service Dining Plan, including all-you-can-eat buffets and Character Dining locations.

Our Take: Is It Worth It?

Honestly? For most families, yes! Especially at Moderate and Deluxe levels where the dining plan really comes into its own. The combination of the free dining value plus the cash discount (up to £400) makes this one of the stronger UK offers we've seen. The removal of the flight-inclusive requirement is the real headline change, and it opens this deal up to a lot more people than previous years.

That said, every family is different. If you're light eaters or tend to snack your way around the parks rather than sit down for full meals, the dining plan may not be the best fit. And if your travel dates fall during blackout periods, you'll need to look at alternative options.

The bottom line: if you're planning a 2027 Walt Disney World trip, this is the deal to book around. Availability moves quickly once these offers go live — we've seen it every year.
